The minimum wage in Poland will increase twice in 2023, announced the country’s government spokesman Piotr Müller. The Polish Cabinet of Ministers has adopted regulations regarding the size of the minimum wage and the minimum hourly rate. The changes will take effect next year. According to them, from January the minimum wage will be PLN 3,383 gross, which is PLN 373 more than this year. And from July it will increase to PLN 3,450 gross, which means an increase of PLN 440 compared to 2022. The minimum hourly rate, which is linked to the increase in the minimum wage, will also be raised in two stages. From January 2023, it will be PLN 22.10, and from July – PLN 22.50 (+14.2% compared to 2022).
